Rev Peter Poon Interim Moderator (Christian Education Director)
Peter began pastoral ministry in 1981 with All Saints Presbyterian Church. Since then, he has served with Youth for Christ International, Prinsep St Presbyterian Church, Living Praise Presbyterian Church. Currently he spends part of the time with WorldTeach . He and his wife - Helena - have three children: Joel, Jobeth and Johanna. Peter likes the outdoors and motorbikes.

Ministry role
Rev Poon focuses on supporting Bible-teaching and learning ministries (Sunday School, youth ministry and adult learning programmes) in the congregation.
 
Rev Benson Goh (Missions, Evangelism & Small Groups)
Benson began pastoral ministry at ORPC in 2002 after working as an external auditor for several years.  He received his theological training in Singapore and Scotland. He is married to Constance and they have a son - Benjamin. Benson enjoys nature, distance running and walking, reading, and appreciates music.

Ministry role
Rev Goh is the key staff support for outreach ministries through the Missions and Evangelism Committee. He also supports the congregation's small group network, through the Congregational Care Committee.
 
 
Preacher Ruth Tong (Music Director)
Ruth entered full time Christian service in 1991 and has been with the English Congregation since 1996 - having previously served with our Mandarin Congregation. She studied Church Music in Singapore and the USA - majoring in piano performance. Ruth is married to Steve Chen and has two young children: Kezmen and Kayla. Her interests include music, swimming, nature, reading and traveling.

Ministry role:
Pr Tong supports the worship ministries, with particular responsibility for co-ordinating all music activities.
 
Preacher Joseph Teng (Congregational Care)
Joseph began full-time pastoral ministry in 1986 and joined the ORPC staff in 2002. While studying in Scotland between 1993 and 2000, he worked among the local and expatriate Chinese there. In addition to English, he also speaks Mandarin and a number of Chinese dialects. He enjoys travelling & reading and has a deep interest in history & things Chinese.

Ministry role
Pr Teng's main responsibility is to support the several ministries of the Congregational Care Committee. He also gives continuing support to some outreach ministries, and especially to our overseas partnerships in Pontian and Batam.
 
Preacher Amos Lau (Youth & Young Adult)
Amos joined the ORPC staff in 2005 after graduating from Trinity Theological College with a Bachelor of Theology degree. He previously was worshipping in Jubilee Presbyterian Church at Outram Road. He is married to Shoo Ling and they have a daughter, Kaitlyn.

Ministry role
Pr Lau has particular responsibility in supporting ministry to youth and young adults.
